8 signs that your cat is dying

8. Lack of appetite

When a cat is not feeling well and feels very weak, it loses its appetite and does not eat as usual. If you bring back the food and the cat doesn’t touch it anymore, you have to be prepared for the possibility of losing it in a short time. At the same time, the administration of certain medications may affect his taste or smell, making him less interested in food. Try reheating food or adding a small amount of sauce to tuna to intensify its flavour. This may whet his appetite and make him want to eat. But it’s important to know that if it’s near the end, your cat will refuse to eat at all.

Of course, every feline is different. As a rule, these are signs that the end is near, but they can also be symptoms of a temporary illness or disease that needs to be treated. As a precautionary measure, whenever you see a significant change in your cat’s behaviour, it’s always best to go to the vet to find out for sure.
