EASY RECIPE! If you need to whip up a dessert on short notice, try this delicious orange cake.
It can be made in the microwave, and it takes only 5 minutes to cook.
Squeeze 2 oranges, collect the juice and set it aside.
In a bowl, mix 3 large eggs, 1 pinch of salt and 100g of sugar until you get a whitish cream.
Add 100g of melted butter, the zest (skin) of ½ orange and 30g of almond flour.
Add 5g of baking powder and 100g of sifted flour, and mix with the electric whisk.
Grease a 24 x 10 x 7 cm microwave pan with a little butter. Pour in the batter, and smooth it out with a spoon.
Microwave on high for 5 minutes.
Bring the squeezed orange juice, 50g of sugar and the zest of ½ orange to a boil. As soon as it starts to boil,turn off the heat immediately.
Let the cake cool slightly.
Use a toothpick to poke holes in the cake, and pour the liquid over it.
Let cool, unmold and garnish with mint leaves.
